Who is your favorite scientist?

I admire a lot of scientists, but for this question, My favorite scientist is Charles Darwin.
Darwin wasn’t just a really smart guy, but he embodied all of the best qualities of a scientist.
He was careful, thoughtful, thorough, and open-minded. He spent a good part of his life gathering evidence for evolution by natural selection,
and he collected so much of it that the case for evolution was already extremely strong when he put it forward.
