No, I don't. (I don't mean that children nowadays are not smart.)
"For me, In the same age, they are smart in their different way."
It's because nowadays there are many convenience technologies helping children to learn what they are interested in and they can search information every time that they want to while children in the past have to study from text books or ask from teacher.
