Talking about ending scene, it is so ridiculous. Romeo doesn't Juliet's plan so he drink a poison while Juliet is waking. When Romeo died, Juliet later kills herself.
Thus, the best way for maintaining other lives is no meeting of Romeo and Juliet.

If I were in the situation Romeo and Juliet were stuck in now, I would most likely turn to my parents. Even though the two families despise each other, I think it would be best that if the two children really love each other, their families should put aside their differences and let their children be happy together. I would do this because I would want to spend time with the person I love without having to hide it or only seeing that person at night. Since the fact that Romeo is banished from Verona, I’d also want to go to the Prince and beg for him to be let in.
