| Now, my friends and I have to do the research for teaching next semester. For sure, we will be the preservice teacher next semester. We have to do some action research about technologies for solving the students' English learning problem. We choose to do about application but now we can't choose it.
Do you have any application about developing English skills to suggest us? | |

| “Trace Word Soup”: a fun vocabulary game which already played over 4 million times around the world. It is a vocabulary game. Trace Effects was designed for English language learners (ELLs) ages 12-16 by the United States Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The game teaches American English and culture in the context of a student entering a university setting for the first time. For example, Trace, the main character, navigates the campus in search of the student information center to obtain his student identification card in order to access certain buildings and ultimately progress to the next level of play. | Plant VS. Zombies can develop English reading skill. Before you grow a variety of plants, you have to read their information to know that different plants have different abilities to prevent your house from zombies. Actually, learning happens all the time.

| Listen/watch: Keep listening to internet radio stations like BBC, watch TV shows in English (use only subtitles, NOT voice dubbing in case you are not a native English speaker!), etc.

| For me, my application that I use for developing my English skill is Youtube. Actually, I love to watch make-up tutorial clips and mobile phones unboxing clips by native speakers. These are my favorite things so I not only entertain myself but also practice my English as well. While I am watching the clips, I have to listen carefully in order to understand well. And sometimes I try to speak like the native speakers by imitating their accents and speaking follow them. I think Youtube is a very useful and helpful way for practicing English because you can find lots of clips whatever you want. Additionally, Dictbox and Thaifastdict are also useful about the vocabulary.

| It's an English - Thai, Thai - English dictionary. When I want to know some words, this is so helpful. For this application in my phone, it provides not only words, but also noun phrases and short proverbs. It's portable and easy to use more than a dictionary book. I think everyone has this kind of application, haven't you?
