| According to my hometown is in Sisaket province, I will suggest the Si Sa Ket’s Four Tribes Annual Cultural Festival. This festival includes cultural performances depicting the culture and way of life of the ethnic Lao, Khmer, Kui or Suay, and Yoe (pronounced Yer) tribal peoples, a photo exhibition, drawings by local artists, a drawing contest, delicious som tam (papaya salad), kai yang (grilled chicken) and khaoniaow (sticky rice) – top favourite local delicacies served in the food plaza, a great variety of engaging live demonstrations, and sales of OTOP local village products from each of the sub-districts (tambon) of Si Sa Ket province promoted under the One Tambon One Product label.

| Nakhon Ratchasima province is my hometown, the famous festival is Thao Suranaree Victory Celebration Fair. It is on March 23 to April 3 of every year. About 170 years over ago, Korat city was invaded by the Laotian army. However, Thao Suranaree ( Khun Ying Mo ) bravely led the people to fight against the invaders. This fair is held to celebrate Khun Ying Mo's victory over the enemy. Officials and the people of Nakhon Ratchasima jointly organize this fair on a grand scale each year.[img] [/img] Kanjana 003 3EN | |

| Boon-Bung-Fai or Rocket festival is the famous festival at my hometown. In Muang District which I live in and Sri Boon Rueng District hold this festival around May and June in every single year and spending a lot of money to make it fine.On the first day, there are the beautiful parades and the interesting things in each parade such as dancing, the joker and one of the important thing of this festival is to parody about sex. On the second day, many rockets will be sent to the sky to respect Pra Ya Tan. This is the festival which many people come back to their hometown. Most people at my hometown like it. Anyway there are the disadvantages like the rockets can be dangerous for the households and people who light them and sometimes there are a lot the fighting of the drunkers that can be harmful to the tourists. However, this tradition has been the important festival that should be inherited as the tradition of ISAAN culture. Benjamad 023 3EN | |

| The most famous festival of my hometown in my opinion is The ceremony anniversary date established of Udonthani. This year is 123 years of establishing. There're many activities such as traditional dancing of Udonthani girls and boys which breaks the Guinness World Records attended by over 20,000 participants in 2014, Thai cultural performances like Ramayana, and fireworks. I never attend to this ceremony because I don't have time to practice dancing. I wish I could attend when I graduated a degree and go back to my hometown.

| The most famous festival in Surin which is my hometown is Surin Round-up festival. This festival is held during the third week of November on the weekend. The festival has its origins in the royal hunts which were conducted in Surin Province during medieval times. The indigenous residents of Surin, the Kuy, have been traditional practitioners of corralling elephants and training them as working animals. The modern two-day event includes a variety of shows displaying the physical prowess and skill of the animals, such as soccer games and tugs of war with the Royal Thai Army. Elephants painting pictures, playing polo, and whirling hula hoops on their trunks are also incorporated into the show.

| Loy Krathong !!! I will give you some history. The history behind the festival is complex, and Thais celebrate for many reasons. The main rice harvest season has ended and it’s time to thank the Water Goddess for a year’s worth of her abundant supply, as well as an apology for polluting the waters. Some believe that this is the time to symbolically ‘float away’ all the anger and grudges you have been holding onto, and including a fingernail or a lock of hair is seen as a way of letting go of the dark side of yourself, to start anew free of negative feelings. If your candle stays alight until your Krathong disappears out of sight, it means a year of good luck. Traditionally, Thais release their krathongs into rivers and small canals called ‘klongs’. Today, a pond or lake is also good. Many places host a string of cultural activities, such as ‘Ram Wong’ dance performances, krathong-making competitions and a beauty contest. People have started releasing lanterns in Bangkok, but this is only a small part of the festival. For the full lantern experience, head up to Chiang Mai for ‘Yee Peng’ festival, although people often fly lanterns in Phuket and Samui, too. cr. http://www.bangkok.com/whats-on-events/loy-krathong.htm#์Naphatporn 020 3En | |
